This is the RTÉ Radio 1 iPhone application.

This app has extremely clear live radio streams, allowing me to keep up with all things Irish; especially sport at seven and liveline with Joe Duffy. Cheers!
Feels almost like home listening to rte here in The good old USA
SUPERB ... I mentioned that it might need up-dating after ios4 and the developer immediately took care of this.
Also for me the new version holds signal much better and I do not get cut off now when I move in areas of weak signal ... so I could not be happier.
Cannot believe this is still free ... you get to listen to RTE radio 1 live plus every single show is available by podcast.
A must have as well as the other rte apps both free and also the tv paid one

Worked perfectly on iPhone 3 but have just got I5 and the listening live now breaks up constantly - very frustrating. Any tips to correct this.
Would not have upgraded if I had known this would happen as I use the app every day. Otherwise I love this app. Would be great if you could play back the Saturday and Sunday sports - a nice to have.
Some bad moments
This app used to be fantastic, but after the last update it has gone to pot. The main page is blank, you cannot email to the show and the buffering is horrible. I dont know what you did the last upgrade but you need to remove it.
What used to be an awesome app is now the five minuet crash app. I like to listen to the news at one on my walk to work but since the last update this app is crap. My other radio apps work great but this one needs some serious help. It is not just on the network but even at home on wi-fi it crashes at an alarming rate. I tried blowing it away and doing a fresh install still no joy. I sure hope they fix it soon.
